ID and PIN
Harvard affiliates need to have a Harvard ID (HUID) and Personal Identification Number (PIN) before opening an email account or gaining access to many online applications.
When you receive your Harvard ID, you will be given a temporary PIN that is valid for 24 hours. You will need to change it at https://www.pin.harvard.edu/.

Email Account
Once you have an ID and PIN you can create your Email Account. Your email is accessible through Outlook Web Access, as well as Outlook or Entourage desktop software.
New Computer Setup
Your Department should provide you with a new computer.
IT Support Services can send an on-site technician to setup your computer, install and configure your software.
