How should I update my Microsoft Entourage 2008 settings after Tuesday October 11 2011?

To update the settings for your FAS Exchange email and calendar account in Microsoft Entourage 2008 follow the steps below.

  1. In Entourage, click the Entourage menu and click Account Settings (see figure 1)

  2. Click the FAS Exchange account listed in the Mail tab.
  3. In the Edit Account window click into the Advanced tab.
  4. Look at the central section of the Advanced pane and find the box labeled Exchange Server. This will contain the address fasmail.harvard.edu.
  5. Change the address to read https://2007exch.fasmail.harvard.edu (see figure 2)

  6. Click OK in the bottom right of the Edit Account pane
  7. Entourage will reconnect to your Iris mailbox and will work as before.
